Scope – pulling together all creative content for activity packs as a creative response to the ongoing Covid pandemic
Packs distributed to families most forgotten by our current government through foodbanks and community centre in central London
The packs contain activities & materials for families with school age children, distributed through food banks, community centres & resident organisations in the City of London and the neighbouring boroughs. Each time distributing approx 2000 of each pack. The packs have a focus on child-led experimentation and play, building families confidence in playing and creating together, and all of the activities can be done with the materials included in the pack or things you might easily find at home. Culture Mile have created a series of Play Packs for families to play together creatively over the summer. From making your own Roman Temple in your living room to recreating the River Thames out of all the blue things in your house, the packs are about having fun together, with minimal equipment needed. 5000 packs are being distributed to community centres and food banks across the City of London and neighbouring boroughs, but can also be downloaded at http://www.culturemile.london/playpacks
